We have been performing NSSD - Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression for the last 16 years and have performed over 25,000 treatments and are currently the largest provider of decompression therapy that we know of in California. The main reason is our clinic founder and director, Dr. Cassidy Boelk DC. He has had a history of severe back pain, sciatica, disc herniations and he fractured his L5 vertebrae at a very young age and has had to figure out how to recover without injections, pain medications or surgery. Without his first hand knowledge of the spine and back pain and conditions such as: disc bulges, herniations, protrusions, sciatica, disc tears, "slipped" discs, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, foraminal stenosis, facet syndrome and many others then his patients would not get the great benefit of his own path to healing.
He is very active and works out almost daily, plays golf, hockey and surfs. He utilizes specific core stability work and functional exercise to keep himself healthy and active.

Dr. Boelk & his staff are by far the BEST at spinal decompression. I walked into his office unable to sit to do my job, where I was having to lay each day & within a couple of weeks he helped me with being able to sit again. His attention to you & the way he will make you feel is unparalleled. First of all, he has suffered from some severe back issues, so his empathy is very high. Secondly, he is extremely caring & genuinely wants to help people. I’ve never worked with a doctor who has cared as much and made me feel like I was his only patient before. There would be 4 people there at the same time, and he still made me feel this way. I guess I just cannot thank him enough & cannot recommend him enough. He is an angel on earth.

Dr. Boelk is professional and kind. He has the health of his patients as his top priority. The decompression treatments, exercises, and diet adjustments he recommended and administered have so diminished my back pain that I can sleep again. Chiropractic adjustments did not help my lower back. Decompression did. I highly recommend Dr. Boelk....

Great friendly staff; the girls are very polite and on task!! Dr. Boelk is very professional, attentive to my lower back pain, and gave me very clear expectations about my treatment plan. The results have been amazing!!! I had tried many different treatments and nothing worked!! My normal life was interrupted with excruciating pain!! After the first few sessions, the pain subside to a minimum, I got my life back! I will continue my treatment plan at the Spinal Decompression and Chiropractic office with Dr. Boelk....
